Programme of activities celebrating

                                                            BLACK HISTORY MONTH

Drop -into the CEMC markets, every Saturday in October ~ 10am - 3pm    

Yes, the time has come around again for the annual community markets organised by CEMC, supported through our partnership with Northampton College.   Every Saturday 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th October

 

Link up with friends over a glass of Sorrel and a plate of jerk chicken and fried dumplings.  Come and soak up the atmosphere, take the opportunity to try out a new activity at one of the many FREE BITESIZE taster courses.  Book up for the Black British Literature workshop run by The X Press London based Black publishing company; famed for the 'Babyfather' titles.    Shop for presents for the forthcoming festive seasons: books, music, clothing, beauty products, jewellery, CDs, educational and cultural materials of all types.

Family Learning Week ~ Activities

Come with the family and have a go computer activities for all the family.  Dance and arts workshops, Stoytelling, Fire Service presentations, come and meet Firefighter Sam!! and many more free fun activities !!

SATURDAY 18th

CEMC ~ BME Community Forum

Open meeting for members of Northamptonshire's Black & Minority Ethnic Community organisations.  As part of CEMC's aim to keep BME Groups informed, involved and evolving; the first of quarterly open meetings to discuss key issues affecting Black community development.   Join the Executive Committee of CEMC and other BME groups from around the county.
